CRAWFORD COUNTY—A Kansas man died in an accident just before 11:30p.m. Monday in Crawford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Hyundai Vera Cruz driven by Robert E. Shaver, 70, Pittsburg, Kansas, was southbound at 1065 220th Road.
The SUV traveled off the roadway to the west, struck a concrete culvert and overturned into a field.
Shaver was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Derfelt Funeral Home. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
