Kansas man accused of selling drugs and ID theft

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple drug allegations.

Just before 2p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024, shortly before 1:45 p.m., a sheriff' s deputy conducted a traffic stop on a blue 1997 Ford F-150 pickup truck in the 2500 block of NW Rochester Road for a registration violation, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

During the investigation, illegal narcotics were located.

The passenger, Charles A. Goodman, 50, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of distribution of a stimulant, interference with law enforcement, possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia and identity theft. Goodman also had two felony warrants for his arrest out of Shawnee County.
