KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another shooting in Kansas City.
Just after 5:30p.m. Sunday patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting in the parking lot of a convenience store at 35th and Cleveland, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'.
First responders found a victim in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began performing life saving measures and ordered EMS.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased at the scene, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino. This is being investigated as a homicide.
Detectives worked to determine the events that led up to the shooting and interviewing witnesses. Police released released no additional details including the name of the victim or any suspect details.
