MONTGOMERY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating an armed robbery in Coffeyville communicated suspect vehicle and occupant information to deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, according to Sheriff Ron Wade.
Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle on U.S. Highway 169 North of Cherryvale and conducted a traffic stop. Deputies found two suspect in the vehicle.
Deputies took Sah’mondre Vanburen, age 23, of Parsons, Kansas and a juvenile into custody and transported them to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office where they were booked on the requested charge of Aggravated Robbery.
