HUTCHINSON —Kansas State Highway Patrol troopers are very busy at the Kansas State Fair. On Sunday night, troopers recovered a stolen firearm, according to a social media report from Troop Tod Hileman.
On Friday night troopers responded to a subject brandishing a weapon on the fairgrounds, according to Hileman.
The subject was placed under arrest for being a felon in possession of a firearm and for possession of a firearm while intoxicated.

The KHP released no additional details including the name of the suspect in the Friday night arrest.
