The Women’s NCAA Tournament isn’t the only show in town for women’s basketball this March. The Postseason WNIT is also on tap in 2023.

Like the NIT counterpart, the WNIT offers a chance for those teams who weren’t selected to the NCAA Tournament to shine.

KU, K-State and Wichita State were all picked to play in the 2023 Women's NIT.

The field includes 64 teams with 32 automatic qualifiers representing each conference’s next-highest finisher behind those selected for the NCAA Tournament.

WNIT schedule

  1. First round: Mar. 15-17
  2. Second round: Mar. 18-21
  3. Third round: Mar. 22-24
  4. Quarterfinals: Mar. 25-27
  5. Semifinals: Mar. 28-29 in Las Vegas
