As of December 1, Riley County had 100 active COVID-19 cases, with 57 new cases and eight people hospitalized.
The 14-day cumulative positive rate is 4.7 percent.
Starting this week, the take-home COVID-19 saliva test kits formerly provided by KDHE and distributed at the Riley County Health Department will no longer be available. You can still get a free COVID-19 test at the Health Department by calling our Screening Line at (785) 323-6400.
The state contract that funded the take-home test kit program has ended but KDHE is still offering free drive-up testing at the Manhattan Town Center parking lot (north side of the mall) from 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
If you have any symptoms of COVID, please don’t hesitate to get tested.
