SALINE COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30p.m. Wednesday in Saline County.
A 2010 Lexus driven by Aaron Thrower, 36, Salina, was southbound in the 3600 Block of Brookville Road just south of Kansas 140 at a high rate of speed, according to Sheriff Roger Soldan.
The driver lost control when the Lexus vaulted over railroad tracks. The car left the road and struck trees.
First responders extricated Thrower from the vehicle and he was transported to the hospital in Salina, treated and released. Authorities are investigating whether alcohol contributed to the crash, according to Soldan.
