
KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating a deadly stabbing in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just before 12:30a.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the 4900 block of N Topping, according to KCPD Officer Alyana Gonzalez.
First responders found a woman outside of a residence, matching the description of the possible suspect relayed in call notes. That woman was taken into custody for further questioning. As officers continued their investigation, they were directed to a residence in the 5700 block of NE 49th Street. They found another woman outside in the driveway of a home suffering from apparent stab wounds and unresponsive. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the her deceased at that time.
It is preliminarily believed that this incident occurred as a result of an ongoing argument.
