Response from Robert Pence: I am pretty much a lifetime resident of Ogden, I am running for re-election because there are several unfinished projects that I would like to see finished, Riley Ave being the biggest. I have been the mayor for 13 years and I know first hand the financial issues that the city has and are still dealing with. The council and myself have  worked diligently to keep the budget in check and thankfully we have done that the last several years without having to raise the mill levy. We are not there yet but there is light at the end of the tunnel. With that being said, Riley Ave. has been the biggest point of contention recently. We have installed pedestrian lights and bulb outs to help alleviate part of the issue but there is some redesigning and funding to hopefully help with the issues. I have been a resident of Ogden for 47 of my 55 years. I love this town and the people in it. I  will always have the best interests of the town in mind when things need or should be done. I want to thank all for the encouragement and support the last 13 years.
