Flint Hills Festival hosts live entertainment, activities on May 4th

MANHATTAN - On Saturday, May 4th, the Flint Hills Discovery Center will host the annual Flint Hills Festival on Blue Earth Plaza from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The annual community celebration will include vendors and activities, along with live entertainment.

"Mr. Stinky Feet"
10:30-11:30am

Jim Cosgrove is an award-winning children's entertainer who has performed more than 4,500 shows in North America and Europe, including two at the White House. Both kids and adults will be entertained by his high-energy, interactive performance.

Jaron Bell
12:30-1:30 p.m. & 3 p.m.

A country music artist and comedian originally from Texas, but now living in Salina, Jaron puts on a high energy show with positive vibes. In 2023, he had 3.5 million views on Instagram Reels, with two top 50 radio singles on Texas music charts.

Lora McDonald
1:45-2:45 p.m.

From the Madison, KS area, Lora McDonald is an active country singer/songwriter who also plays covers from other genres. She has performed at numerous venues, events, and festivals.

Jack Reid Magic
2-3 p.m.

You do not want to miss the close-up, walk-around magic of Jack Reid Magic. You will be amazed! Named "Kansas City's Close-up Magician of the Year" in 2017, he has performed all over the country.

Food trucks, wine tastings, and a beer garden, along with the Taste of Kansas fair, children's activities, maker demonstrations and more to explore throughout the festival.
