FORD COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating the cause of a deadly explosion in southwest Kansas.
Just before 5:30p.m. Saturday, Ford County Communications received calls of an explosion in the 100 block of west Center Street in Bucklin, according to a statement from Sheriff Bill Car.
Three individuals were located inside the building deceased and a fourth was transported to St. Catherine Hospital in Dodge City for medical treatment.
Authorities released no names or ages of the victims late Saturday. The Kansas State Fire Marshal's Office will assist with the investigation.
